As drooled over seen many times on Esty "replica wedding cake" we decided to make our own. Why pay $50 + shipping when we've got creative talent?! So we think. For about $5 (with Michaels coupons) and an hour or so we created our own mini cake ornament. We used fimo clay which is mold-able and bakes hard in the oven. We added a metal loop on the back to hang from our tree.

*wait. the owls sat directly on top of the cake IRL. not. in the nest they live in now? wah wahhh.
